I know it stupid she most likely is but hear me out

I was with a girl there a few weeks back we met threw friends and protected sex a few times then a about 2weeks ago we where fairly locked drunk and i dont think i used a condom actually im pretty sure i didnt thats how drunk and then a day later after she went home for weekend for college i texted her asking was she on the pill and she said she wasnt i was like ok get the emergency pill pronto id pay for it etc she was like no we where carefull like i dunno wat to do i said take a pregnancy test she said wat for i dunno wat to do?!!

Clearly you don't remember much but she probably has a better idea of what happened that night than you.

She OBVIOUSLY doesn't want to get pregant either like so....

Well, not obviously but.... did she seem abnormal in any way??

if you didn't you any other forms of contraception and the condom wasn't used correctly
then yes there is a chance that she could have become pregnant.
You will just have to try talking to her and see if she has had her period and if she hasn't to ask her to take a pregnancy test and then go from there.

I didnt think there was very much wrong with the post from LittleMissLogic.

The OP should not get too panicked and not assume that she is pregnant. He should ring and not text her and get more details about what she recalls from the night and whether it was the fertile time of the month and, of course, persuade her to get the test done.

Yes i guess thats the only thing to do at this stage is a pregnancy test ive got a sick feeling in my stomach she is thow she wasnt exactly sober either so im not shure of her account of the night! im only 20 im not ready to be a father!

Don't think you should be worrying so much if it isn't worrying the girl I'd say your in the clear.
Sounds like she knows she's not pregnant if she said "what for" maybe she's implying nothing happened or maybe she evil and she's out to strap the 'oul ball and chain on you!

In fact, I'd go so far as to say if you're sober enough to even HAVE sex, you're sober enough to remember to put on a condom.

I would try to talk to her, properly. Find out from her exactly what she thinks happened and why she thinks she's safe from getting pregnant. There may be other factors involved that you're unaware of. In any case, get her to take a test - you'll need to wait a few weeks though, as taking one too early will give a false negative.

@OP: You've done what you can tbh. The sensible thing would be for her to get the Morning after pill but you couldn't force her to. I understand your concern but there's nothing that can be done now except wait. You haven't been irresponsible. You contacted her immediately - and she said you were protected. While you may have been drunk it have played a factor in not using a condom properly. I know this doesn't allay your fears but all you can do now is hope for the best.

I know how you feel kiddo, but to be honest the biggest worry i would have if i was you was if you have contracted an std.

Just a little word of caution.. the morning after pill s a pretty serious pce of medication and should be taken very very rarely, it is a very tough drug on a womans system, so i wouldnt go thinking its something you can tell someone to rely on.

Just try to keep in mind you are not the first person in this situation and you sure wont be the last, the key thing is that you try to avoid putting yourself in that situation.

There IS a fairly high chance of getting pregnant from unprotected sex, it's not like it's a 1 in 100 thing! If she is, there's not much you can do now. If she isn't, learn a lesson from this and bag up from now on. And get yourself tested for STDs.

Express your worry to the girl, sit her down and really talk to her. Tell her what you are going through and explain that by getting a pregnancy test that you can move on with your life. It's not fair that you have to worry like this.

Actually, the chances of getting pregnant are relatively low at the best of times. According to this article from the American Family Physician journal:

...if 1,000 women have unprotected intercourse in the middle two weeks of their menstrual cycles, approximately 80 will become pregnant.

I realise that this is kind of off-topic, but it might be comforting for the OP to know, especially if the girl refused to take the MAP.

OP, speak to the girl and get her to do the test, do it with her so you can see the results for yourself.

In future if you do slip up and people do (everyone makes mistakes) or split a condom or something, you have 72 hours in which to get her in and get the morning after pill, you can get it ANY day except Christmas day or Stephens day. However if possible take it sooner rather than later, as the 72 hours ticks by the success rate diminishes.

Sorry Snyper I think you have been slightly misinformed, the morning after pill is no harder on a womans system than 4 ordinary contraceptive pills. In the old days maybe it was less sophisiticated than it is now, it might have caused a little nausea but nothing serious.

Its too late for the morning after pill now but dont sit there worrying contact the girl and find out the truth.

A girl would know herself and know her cycle. It's not really something girls want to get into with a fella that she just had a bit of a fling with, I would trust her judgement, wait a few weeks and then if her period doesn't appear...then be worried, if she's not worried then don't get worried yourself.

OP mistakes happen to everyone and by your posts you seem to be worrying yourself sick Contact her again and explain how worried you are. Im sure she will appreciate the fact that you are actually worried about this rather than just someone who sleeps with girls unprotected and dosnt give a toss. Ask her if she will take a test to put your mind at rest.
