    Hi all,

I'm new to this thread so apologise if this has been asked before...

Welll I have noticed a lot of Cork people in this thread so is anyone interested in getting together for non drinking events? Cinema / bowling / lunch / dinner / coffee / pool (the game) ......etc......

If you might be up for this kind of thing please reply to this or pm me.

This is of course for anyone in the country but the events will be organised in Cork.

    Hi, this is great,

Unfortunately I'm not there yet. I'll be moving to Cork in the next month or so and would love to get involved in organising/attending non-boozy things to do.

Definately up for it. Posted my thoughts about it in the other thread so I'll repost ;)
Anyone still game for this? May as well get a head count. If we can get five or six and perhaps even a mixture of male and female together we'd be doing well! For sometime say around January..? Work shifts/College hours permitting.

Why the mixture? To look good of course! ;)

This is seriously a great idea. But yeah, must get some info out of everyone first, age and sex pretty much. If I want a sausage festival I'll go to Germany.

And sure theres loads of stuff to do in Cork without alcohol. I'd vote simply go to some cafe and hijack a large corner and clean the place out of apple/orange/cranberry juice.

This thread never seemed to be that active so I started a new one a while ago called "Cork Social Outings" which is very active....

As it happens we are going bowling this Thursday and Friday (around 8 people each night). It was only meant to be on one night but we are holding it on both so that everyone can go on at least one night.

Check out that thread for more detail (there is also a thread with a poll in it called Cork Social Outings - EVENT 1 - Bowling if you want to take a look)
