Quick question, my parents have a standard eircom netopia box (no wifi), I use to have eircom at my house but don't anymore. The box I have is a netopia 3347nwg (it has wifi). Can I replace their box with my old one, or will I have to change some settings?

Yes, you can swap the old modem with the new modem, assuming both connections are eircom DSL. If it was a reseller like BT or Perlico, you'd have to change the username and password at least.
