He's selling it, not married to it!
it's called haggling, and now is the time to do it.
although 2 years sitting round, I hope it was, at least, driven to keep engine in good order, and gets full service the day you take it home.

There's only one way to answer your question - offer €40,000. Take it from me, 911s aren't moving too fast these days.

There's only one person who can answer that - the seller. Which car is it?

Feck offering 40k, offer 35k and work up. Yeah the will reject your first offer, but offering any less they will only think your taking the p1ss and not interested in the car. I would guess the best you would get the car for is 45k.

In todays market cash is King . Many dealers will have to realise heavy losses
this year if they want to go forward into 2009 and beyond. There are so many
dealers sitting with heavy stock that was priced right when it came in but has gone so wrong in the last few months. Its better to accept the loss today and move on .In saying that there will be lots of posts here in the new year complaining about poor trade in valuations.

I'd say 40K is very reasonable

Oh I dunno, they always seem to have a nice bit of power if ya floor em.. :)

    ok, bad joke there!!

Anyway, as someone said, the guy is a salesman, if you make an offer and they refuse, so be it.. how can u making what you think is a reasonable offer insulting them? I very much doubt the cars a selling themselves these days..
