Nightmare Before Christmas

Next friday, we are holding a "Nightmare Before Christmas" party. And I need good, but cheap ideas for house decorations, food and ideas for suitable music!

It's not going to be a big party at all, maybe only 15 people, but I want to do something a bit different for it

I've never even seen the film so I wont know either way.

But really, only very loosely based on the film, I just love the idea of a horror based christmas party.

Like is is possible to get black and silver canes, a dead christmas tree (not very likely to find that am I?!) stuff like that.

I swear I will try rent the film or pick it up somewhere over the weekend. I will still need ideas though.

I'd say you'd find it quite easy to get a black Xmas tree, even in Argos or somewhere... then you could decorate it with silver and black stuff, make it look all gothicy...

Simple most of the movie is set in hollow'een town and christmas town so away you go deck the house out again with bats, cats, pumpkins ect and all the Christmas decorations as well.

Thanks everyone. Will have a look at the film too and see what I come up with. I don't want to do too mad with the whole house decorated, just some touches here and there.

Anybody know where I can get a black light and dry ice?
