I was just wondering, after reading the new karate kid thread, is there such a CD/Compilation available that has a collection of the best known songs/music from films that involve fighting (strange request I know).

Best of the best - Karate Kid
    Several songs from rocky
    etc.

Or would I have to make out a list and find them individually/buy the seperate soundtracks ?

Google isnt helping me much here I keep coming up with either Marilyn Mansons Fight Song or the Album Fight Music by D12 :o

Apologies if its in the wrong section but I thought this was a more relevant board than the music section.

If it doesn't have "The Touch" its just not worth it.

You'd probably be better off finding the songs and downloading them individually. Any albums like this are bound to be a let down.

You'll either have to get a few different CDs to get the songs you want, have to sift through a ton of music you dont particularly care about or the CD will end up having a different version of the song you want.

    Edit:

If you're just looking for a few different random songs to 'motivate yourself' then you could always try some random WWE (wrestling) theme music. I know it may sound odd, but a lot of their theme music (which is made to get the wrestler himself in the mood) is pretty good like that.

Although, of course, it all depends on what kinda music you're into, too.

I think this is a pretty good tune:

But you could probably hate it.

Yeah I thought I was going to have to take that approach alright. Bugger. I was kind of hoping i could find some sort of compilation that I could get a majority of songs from at least.

Ah well. Anyone have any more suggestions of what to look for then ? :D

Nothing in particular. I'm just doing it as a bit of a joke for my brother, he weighs about 9 stone sopping wet and he's all talk he's starting the gym around xmas time.

Got him a new MP3 player and just wanted to fill it up with these kind of songs from these kind of movies to take the piss a bit is all.

Most of the stuff from well known montages and stuff like that.

Jokey "Motivational" stuff from well known films I suppose is what i'm trying to say.

'You're the Best' from the Karate Kid (and south park :D) - you won't need another song ever again.

It was actually meant to be in rocky but was replaced by Eye of the Tiger

You can't really go wrong with some of Prodigy's songs in the gym. They're fast pased and motivating. Not sure if any are in films but...
