thehut.com charging postage

    Went to order something from them yesterday, but they're now charging £0.99 postage on orders. :(

    The item ended up cheaper with Asda because of this. Glad I ordered most of my Christmas presents before they charged shipping and using the Halloween code now!

    Use their sister company www.sendit.com

    Exactly the same stuff but with free P&P.

    They're all in the Asda/Wal-Mart family.

    Sendit/Asda prices are more expensive than the hut though, however with The Hut's postage charge, they both became marginally cheaper - only by a few pence mind.

    I usually price everything I buy between about 5 or 6 websites and in the last month I've spent at least €200 with The Hut on that basis. However, with them charging postage, they might lose out on a good few orders from me in the future.

    I don't understand thehut. They brought a postage charge in earlier this year, got rid of it and now it's back again. With the vouchers for them and while free delivery I've bought a bunch of stuff off of them.
