Temtpalia is a great site for eye makeup tutorials, I seem to while away a good part of my morning on there! also, she seems to have hazel/green eyes as well so the looks that work for her would probably work for you too.

I love that "Big Beautiful Eyes" palette from Benfit, but its browny colours more-so-than black/grey smokey eye! Depends what you're going for!

You should definately check out youtube! You could try xsparkage [on youtube] (She does really bright looks though, but she has a few smokey tutorials, and she is ridiculously cute! :D) or Panacea ( I think thats how she spells it. She has a very strong accent but is good if you can listen to her. I can't :o but I've seen some of her finished stuff and have liked it!)

    Hope that helps!

    Hello!

Ok, I would use 3 colours, a light one, a medium one and a dark one. Put the light one all over the eye, from lash line to brow. Then put the medium shade just on the socket. Then kind of line the socket line with the darker colour and then blend. You should be able to feel the socket line curve with your finger. Blending is really important, no harsh lines. Line the bottom eyelid with the dark colour. Then line with a pencil. Use lots of mascara too.

Be careful when using colours like grey and black, they have a tendency to fall off your lid onto your cheekbone when applying them, so do the eyes before the rest of your face.

There's some really good tutorials on specktra.net and also on youtube.

Ya defo need the right brushes for this. Can't do it with your fingers! This brush is a flippin lifesaver for blending!! http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15083&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1527

You basically put the brush in the socket line and swirl it around (little tiny swirls of the brush). It doesn't have to be a MAC brush but something similar will do the job too!

Also if you are finding it hard to blend very darks colours like black and navy, use a matte eyeshadow like MAC's Kid http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/product/shade.tmpl?SKU_ID=SKU9545 and blend using that. (to blend the other edge) Any colour (beige-y) will work. I'm not trying to promote MAC!

Or just sleep in your make-up the night before you wanna go out and that should work. Always happens to me!
