headers for honda

i was thinking of putting headers and a decat pipe on my 1.4 civic 96 3dr hatch and was wondering if anyone knows if
1 will it pass nct with headers
2 will the cat converter bolt straight back onto the headers for the nct
3 will the car be much louder with the headers

Headers? i.e an exhaust Manifold?
Decat will make it sound sh1te and ud be lucky not to loose power on a 1.4 with it.

tbh a decat on a 1.4 civic is just a waste of time (imo and two others). I know of two people who have done that to their 1.4 civics and they said it wasnt worth it putting it on. Hardly any increase in power what so ever and may I add one of them just sounded like muck because of it.

thanks tenzor07 and R_H_C_P cool then no decat , what about headers manifold then is it worth spending the money ? i dont want something real loud, just to sound nice if you know what i mean, i realise it wont make a big difference performance wise but that dont bother me, what do you reckon

not worth getting a manifold as it will only really increase the noise at the VTEC changover point.. no difference at all on a 1.4 not-Vtec.
If you want extra noise just get a good Induction kit from Icetronix.

funnily enough it was one of the guys at icetronix that suggested the manifold and decat, luckily i didnt go ahead with it. anyway thanks for the help
