as the title states, Tadhg Kennelly will be returning to play for The Kingdom for 2009 ... well about time if you you ask me and I seriously hope that he plays a blinder in his first outting as I can't say that he won't feel the pressure and expectation from the Kerry supporters

    per Radio Kerry today

    Wow- just Wow!.

I really hope the lads stay- they'll have some team next year- will he come into midfield?

Not according to Fox Sports Australia.

Sure he has another year on his contract at Sydney and said he would honour it.

The 27-year-old told Fox Sports News that the 2009 campaign will be his last before returning to his homeland and a stint in the native Gaelic game.

"I always said I wanted to go home and play Gaelic football and do what my dad and brother have done, win premierships back at home," Kennelly said.

"That is in the back of my mind. I have a year left on my contract and as it stands, that's it.

"I am going to make the most of it, really soak up the season and enjoy being at the football club."

He is just after under-going an operation and has said that "he will be returning to the Kingdom to play next year and do what his father and brother have done - win all-Ireland medals." When R.K. post up their link i'll post it

But then he would be in breach of his contract. He has an agreement with Sydney to leave after the 2009 AFL season when it expires and I can't see the club just letting him break the contract to go.

He has always expressed a desire to win an All Ireland but would do so when his commitments with Sydney are finished, i.e. 2010.

    I'm open to correction though.

Said on Radio he's coming home after next season, but it is contract negoitation time over too! Was a piece in the indo today about himself and Sean White setting up some group for young players going over.
anyway he'll be home next week im sure we'll hear more
