Cast Iron Bath - Bottom Scratched

Recently bought an old fashioned cast iron bath. Had some painters in and they somehow managed to scratch the bottom of the bath (think they dropped a heavy shower head on it ). Its white and now has an ugly scratch across the middle. Anyone any ideas on how best to remedy it...is there a specific type of paint to use? All…
