Long story short, my battery isn't charging, and given that it's now at 0% this has drastically reduced my laptop's mobility. Any suggestions?

It can happen sometimes due to the charger being left plugged in too long. Unplug the charger pack from the wall and leave it 10 minutes. Remove the battery from the pack and leave it the same amount.

    Re-engage them and try again.

I have a Dell 1525 and this has happened twice. I have two batteries and it happens with both so I figure its the charger pack.

Hmm, anyone know anywhere in Dublin that specialises in repairing Dells?

I've still got no idea what the problem with the battery is, and it's worrying me.

Its under warranty, that's what warranties are for. Just ring them and get it sorted. Do it asap if the warranty is anyway close to expiring.

Have plenty of time, but don't want to do it until after my exams, which means it'll be a few weeks before I can do without it. Otherwise it'd be with them already. ;)

Joe they can send someone out to you on-site with a new battery. You wont lose any laptop time at all.
