Poker income and Jobseekers Allowance

I've been jumping through hoops for the last month or so with paperwork and everything trying to get my Jobseekers Allowance sorted, I eventually had my interview thingy the other day where the girl went through all my forms/bank statements etc.

I haven't been working for a while but have been playing poker online, which is not a taxable (or reliable and steady) source of income. However over the month of August I withdrew over 2k whilst traveling. She seemed to be pretty concerned about this and implied i may not be eligible for my claim because of this.

Just wondering on the off chance if anyone else has been in a similar situation, I have a statement from my poker account with the balance at 0.00 to prove I have no money there atm but she seemed to think that due to the large withdrawals I was basically ****ed.

Earnings from gambling, criminal activity, prostitution etc are not assessable as means (Not inferring that there's a link between them obviously).

Silly all the same though. But then there's a Social Welfare means test & a CAB one !!
