Unless you have 20Mbit fibre, and the Sky feeds are at the other end of your ISP's fibre you can for get this..

I'm happy to watch a 3min clip on YouTube quality, but not watch a film or TV series that way, nor wait 6hrs to download a 2 hr film at VHS quality...

If you Don't like Dishes get Cable, MMDS or TV aerial, but don't bother slowing down everyones broadband for poor quality TV.

Regular Broadband is the stupidest medium for TV. You need ISP dedicated servers, lots of VOD content and fibre to make it a compelling alternative.

I'd advise people to boycott it and make this Sky rip off a failure. If you want Sky, get a Dish, Cable or at worst MMDS.
