Review Tips

    Hi All,

It's that time of year again when reviews come along.

I'm wondering has anyone got some good tips regarding how to handle reviews and get the best salary increase possible.

It's my first year in the company I'm in. I believe I have done well and according to my 6 month review, I have surpassed expectations, so I'm hoping for a decent increase. Despite the downturn, our company is still doing well and actively recruiting.

We have a pre-review meeting coming up to discuss end of year bonus/salary expectations, so I want to prep myself.

This will probably be a popular question in the coming weeks, so all advice appreciated. :)

Do you have a document with all your objectives listed on it? If so, have a good look at it, and be able show how you have delivered and surpassed what was expected from you.

Have examples in place, it is so easy to forget what points you wanted to make unless it's written down in front of you.
