I watched the Mutant Chronicles on sat, Its mad for a film with such an array of somewhat well know actors I couldn't believe I never heard of it. Good Special effects too given the budget

I thought it was ok, Watchable!! I'd give it a Average 6/10.

    Watched Death Warrant yesterday:)

I've been on a Van Damme and Seagal buzz the last couple of days, will probably watch Bloodsport and Out For Justice today.

I also watch ''In The Shadow of the Moon'' yesterday, anyone with an interest in space/NASA etc should watch it, tis an excellent documentary.

    "Teeth"

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780622/

Great as a B-Movie, but has no redeeming features at all. Too ploddy and the story doesn't go anywhere. It's a great idea, poorly executed. (That phrase will never get old!)

My last one would have been Son Of Rambow about a week ago. Not bad and a grand way to spend a lazy evening on the couch but they showed loads of it in the trailers.

At The Cinemad: Warlords. chinese movie with jet li. typical chinese movie about wars, fighting, mates in love with same chick but a good movie.

On Tv: Big Trouble in little China. Quality movie. 80s cheese at its best. Esp good because my missus is chinese and I could make kung fu noises etc.

On DVD: Tomorrow Never Dies: made me realise how good Daniel Craig really is as bond.

I can never seem to keep up with watching all the films i'm downloading, so I try and watch one every other night. Last night it was "The Lady Eve" a witty sharp tounged rom-com from 1941 with Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda. There are only so many current films I actually think are worth watching, so i'm trying to dip into the classics/non-english language films too.

Working by way through IMDB's top 250 for all I haven't seen, It's hard work!!

I finally got to see The Transporter last night, on TV. I quite liked it for what it was - action with a bit of humour, in a part of the world I've been to a couple of times and hope to visit again. Looking at the previous threads on this film, I see a few people got tripped up by its very dry combination of French & English humour. :pac:

I could see the connections to other Luc Besson films: the anti-hero, with his solitary lifestyle, meets a younger woman. She causes him all kinds of trouble, but they end up helping each other out, and so on...

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

I watched in the Name of the Father last night. Not sure what made me think of it, hadnt seen it in years.

I had forgotten how good it was - really great movie. Daniel Day-Lewis is so so good.

Well worth a re-watch if you haven't seen it in a while,
