What to wear under graduation robe?

Graduation tomorrow, Im wondering what to wear under the robes.

There's some confusion regarding what the robe for Bsc Computer Apps actually looks like, so I dont know if its open or closed. Preferably I'd like to wear a plain shirt, jeans and leather slip ons. The only pair of formal trousers I own are cheap and fit really poorly, I'd hate to have to wear them.

Also, after the ceremony and picture taking and all that is out of the way can I ditch the robes?

The robe is open so I, like everyone else I saw, wore a full suit. I gave my robes back after all the photos and things were taken.

Color wise the sash is blue and yellow and the robe is very dark navy/black.

Did everyone have a great day?
Had a great day myself, though the ball was such an anticlimax.

I thought the ball was great, although there are a few hours of it which I can't recall. I'm just assuming I was having fun, whatever I was doing.

I loved the ball! It was so much fun! I was a little tipsy.
