Cork Covers Band

    Hi to all.

    I'm posting this ad in hope to find like minded musicians who are interested
    in forming a rock/pop covers band for gigging around the Cork area. Most covers will be catered for and ofcourse own material written can go down very well too.
    I play electric acoustic and can sing backing vocals so what I'm looking for
    is 1x guitarist, 1x bass, 1x drummer and a lead vocalist.
    If any of the above can lead vocal then ideal if not we have to air down
    the lines of using a pure lead vocal.
    My influences for covers include R.E.M, Crowded House, Oasis, The Verve,
    plus many others which if I write them all the post would be huge :eek:

    I've played guitar for around 30 years (I'm 39 by the way) and moved here from the UK in 2006, but had to leave a lot of equipment back in the UK as carting it here was a bit hard, so I'm in the process of re-gearing.
    I have my own guitar (electric-acostic) and currently saving of amps etc but who knows maybe one who joins can share PA etc ...
