Best NOISE ISOLATING buds

Currently have to jack the volume up very high on the train to hear music properly.

This can't be good for my hearing so I'm in the market for some noise isolating buds.

The Shure Se 110's and Sennheiser cx 300's seem like good options.

Are the Shure's much better for isolation though, with the foam tips? I really want to cut down the noise.

    Can anyone reccomend any others?

Would preferably buy them in a shop in Dublin in case of returns, so if buying online the price would have to be excellent.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm actually in the market for a pair of Etymotic ER-6I. Likewise, if anyone knows of a place in Dublin or online that would be great.

    Regarding the Shure: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/shure-se110-sound-isolating-earphones/
The Sennheiser seems to be more popular, online price at Komplette seems to be the go http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=347160

I have both CX300's and some higher-end Shure ones (can't remember the product number, but they've similar shape/size to 110's). The problem with the Shure ones is that they do a great job of sounding crisp, cancelling noise... but they're also quite uncomfortable (for me). I much prefer the cx300's, which don't quite cut out ALL noise, but do close to it.

I saw cx400's in HMV today. Not sure how they compare, but I am tempted by the few reviews I've seen...

I bought a pair of Ultimate Ears Super Fi Pro 5 off these guys, super speed shipping etc. The isolation from these is unbelievable, but they are very expensive. Even on a plain you hear nothing but your music.

    Ok thanks :)
What did they charge you for shipping to Dublin? Do we classify for their Free Shipping over 50 pounds promotion?

    New Shure offering here
    http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/Headphones.6/Shure.44/SE102/Shure_SE102_Sound_Isolating_Earphones.3531.html

If they are as good as the old E2s they are a bargain at this price
