Aperture help (the Program)

Has anyone had much experience with this?

I has the ability to tether a camera, so that your pictures appear on computer screen as you take em, or thats what i am lead to believe, as i have not been able to get it to work.

I am using it on a macbook, connected to Canon 400D via usb,

Has anyone used this feature? if so any ideas what the problem might be?

I am thinking that i need to use a fire wire instead.. but the program recgonises the camera, but will not work

I have a 450d and had the same difficulty.

Ok this is how to do it:

1: Launch Eos Utility
2: Goto Preferences
3: Destination Folder
4: Fill in destination folder, mine is /Users/Stephen/Pictures/Remote Shooting

5: Download the following: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/automator/aperturehotfolder.html

6: Follow the instructions here:
http://automator.us/aperture/example-04.html
