The world is getting stranger by the week.

Around two dozen houses have been damaged in Waterford city following what residents have described as a mini tornado.

The adverse weather conditions hit the Larchville estate shortly before 3.30pm, causing damage to houses and trees

There are no reports of injuries.

There are also reports of localised flooding in many parts of the south-east.

This is hilarious, I was out walking my dog this evening went right past larchville even had good look over to see my grandmother's house, this was after the apparent "tornado" and everything looked grand. Then I get home and hear the news. Oh and I didn't know many meteorologists lived in Larchville

EVERYONE ive asked about this was asleep when it happened. I was too but does all of waterford sleep untill after 4 on a saturday? It didnt wake me up, wish it did because that woulda been a mad thing to see

There is a number of these events in the country every year. Most times out in the arse end of nowhere where no-one sees it. Like the one in Waterford for example...

text speak is usually not thought well off around here, and its use, sort of brings out this sort of response,
afterhours forum on boards is usually a bit more free with expressions and commentry, so don't take it personally... all new members are welcome on boards... just leave the text talk to the mobile and it will be fine...
