Hello fellow boardies, on the rare occasions when not debating Hunter’s booking policy, I do a journalism course. I am writing a feature on the WWE,( Topical) and I was wondering with a show being scheduled for Thursday inn Belfast, how would I go about securing a brief interview with any of them? It may sound off the wall, but I was hoping one of the older/experienced heads on here may be able to offer a guiding hand….
    Thanks in advance….

Cool, its only meant to be brief even a phone interview would do and I am not really that concerned if I can't get a main event superstar!
Paul London would never have being to busy!:(

Ring the WWE office in Stamford (+12033528600), sound professional and ask for Vince, see how far you can get lol

try and find out what hotel they're staying in and go to the hotel bar after the show. try and get chatting to any of them, you might be lucky and get them to consent to a brief interview. Don't know Belfast so cant even make a guess at the hotel, if it was dublin would imagine either the morrisson on the quays or four seasons in ballsbridge.

When in Belfast, they all stay in the Hilton which is about a mile from the Odyssey. Its easy to find as well - you can see it from the motorway as you approach the Odyssey.

Also, last time they were in Belfast, some of the guys were in LA Fitness in Belfast for an hour or so (inc. Triple H). They were very friendly to everyone there according to a neighbour of mine who got photos & autographs from the all.

About a month ago I was offered an interview with Kurt Angle, he was over visiting family apparently,

    (I also study Journalism)

I believe with upcoming live shows in Belfast and Dublin (not sure if there is one in Dublin???) if you contact the promoters i.e. Aiken or that other crowd, you should get an interview no bother so long as you don't really mind who with.

Event promoters have people who deal with the media and your request wont be deemed unusual at all, infact I'd wager there are plenty of others trying to secure interviews...so in that regard you might be unlucky as its a bit late, in my own experience these things have to be organised a good bit in advance, might get lucky though...
