My mini grenade launcher was santioned under section 7 (misc) goods act.
    Taken by customs.
I have the chance to appeal this..
    what to do???

this i presume has happened to other people.

Please help with any (SERIOUS) advice.

    Thanks.

If you get in touch with them and explain that it is an airsoft device, incapable of firing a real projectile and only for use in conjunction with another airsoft device then they should release it.

I think it also helps to send an invoice and copy of the html link of what you purchased

I had a tac vest held in customs believe it or not

And after some quick email response, me showing the link, I got a full apology and it was at my door next day.

They were pretty sound about it.... even though they sent a Tactical Vest for ballistic testing :P

You'd think they'd know the difference at this stage or at least have someone there that does.

They do know the difference, its just someone trying to justify their job. They usually release stuff when you phone them.

Are you sure it wasnt seized under section 207?

One of my close friends had his grenade launcher seized under this act a long time ago. He appealed it within the month and has been chasing it up with regular fone calls but to no success.
The best ting you can do is appeal it as soon as possible and wait.........a long time......

Get names of anyone you speak to and make a note of the date. Also see can you get a reference number for your launcher.
