These guys seem to be very cheap...Ive rooted around the web and found some good reports. I also phoned them directly and had a chat with one of the guys and all seems to be above board. Has anyone ordered from them before ?

Any company that doesn't list their physical address on their contact page (http://www.shopbyprice.co.uk/asp/contact.asp) would be a big no-no for me.

edit: plus, the site looks like it was thrown together in about half an hour.

Can only find one real reference to them online at AVForums
Purchased my Toshiba 57WH36 from them no problems at all, even I doubted that they could get hold of one but true to their word they got me one
And that's a member who has over 1400 posts.. so that must count for something.

Can get their address information of the registrant on a Whois query
    92/93 East Street
    Southampton
    Hampshire
    SO14 3HP
    GB
Though their site is horribly designed - orange and black (brings back vivid flashbacks of the Halloween theme on Boards last week).

Anyways, will leave this open for the time being as it looks "legit-ish"!

They have a few bricks and mortar stores in England under the name tuned-in. One boards user bought something from them and had good reports, Ive sent him a pm to verify.

    WARNING!!!

    http://www.shopbyprice.co.uk/asp/product.asp?recorprod=1&product=727&cat=98&ph=&keywords=&recor=&SearchFor=&PT_ID=

This is a 19 inch tv, yet the website says its a 23 inch tv. Plus right clicking is disabled. They do that to stop the majority of people from copying and pasting product codes into google to check them. I would be very worried about this site.

wouldn't most people just use ctrl+c?

Most people who use a computer allot would. However most users who dont use a computer allot and who happen to make up the majority of users overall would not use a keyboard shortcut IMO.

Anyways that wasnt the point of my post. It says a 19 inch tv is a 23 inch tv on the front page.

Are you trying to say its legit? Why would you disable right clicking?

I was able to right click and copy. Think it might be a setting on your comp.

Fair enough it could be that. I wouldnt be suprised. It is prob a problem with IE7. Anyways that still wasnt the point of my post. 19 inch != 23inch

They might have put up the wrong product code by mistake, look at the pic of the supposed 19" :

    415740.jpg

Check that against the one they are selling and you can see they are both different in the picture. (i think its supposed to be LE22A457C1DXXU)

it could be but to be fair all of those brand of telleys look the same. This is the 19inch one

    http://www.letshave-it.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=688

Anyways for them to put it on the front page of the site indicates a shockingly poor level of quality control.
