I find my ears get very hot when I used the normal closed back headphones and it gets uncomfortable

From a pure comfort point of view I always liked the K171 from AKG

    http://www.akg.com/site/powerslave,id,2,nodeid,2,pcategory,33,_language,EN.html

They sound good are very light and the earcup goes around the lug, so you don't get 'Studio Ear' .... a dreadful affliction.

i've mentioned them before: sennheiser HD580, 600 or 650. All very comfy and excellent performers.
