Super pair of boots, bought a pair last november , good and tight , dont flop about , but for €90 they would want to be good.

Did'nt wear them yet this season have a pair of highlander 9" lace ups that i will wear 90% of the time with a pair of gaiters, great for grip, dry and warm.

Nephew bought a pair of wellies identical to Aigle just the print on the logo missing for €48 from www.lractive.com , exact same as the ones i bought for €90.

    Maca

I'm heading into my third or fourth season with a pair of €70 Aigles and they are the bogs dollox. Beat the crap out of Hunters any day.

i also have both Hunters and Aigles, Aigles are 4 years old and love them they are starting to break down now an have a hole or two in them but i now wear Seal Skinz socks which are also brill cos they are a waterproof goretex sock, well worth a look... so till i ruin the Aigles the Hunters can sit and wait..

Boots sound - but Duffy is not the cheapest for anything. ESP @ €130.00 You can get a boot in Ballinarobe the neprophene lined and big calf with adjustable top, great at keeping the toes from going numb!

Two friends of mine who are big into their outdoor sports have them. Amazingly waterproof yokes.

Amazon have them but you might find them closer to home.

    Edit: www.chainreactioncycles.com stocks them.

I have those exact boots I think. Mine have the thick neoprene 4.5mm I think and they are far to warm. Your feet will be sweating in them. I would get the 2.5mm? one the next time. Mine have a leak somewhere but though your foot will be wet at least its warm! Also the grips on the bottom are not that great, near lost my balance a good few times on wet logs,, mud etc. Also to get them off you will need a boot jack. But all in all they give good ankle support, thinner ones would be warm enough and if I could get them witha studded sole I will buy another pair.

    Mallards.

these come just over your welly ideal sock for the winter, this also looks the best price as i paid 50 pounds for mine last year.

I'm a lifelong user of Aigle wellies and I can't say a bad thing about them. I think the old man bought me my first pair when I was 6 or 7 years of age. I've had one pair of them chameaux yokes once and didn't like them one bit.
The only other footwear I'd wear out shooting in summer is a pair of old Belgian army surplus boots. They're extremely though as well but need a couple of good long walks to bed in which can be a bit painfull.

Aigle's clothing is great as well. I've two heavy cotton shirts by them for the last 15 years and they've seen some abuse and are only starting to fall to bits now.
