Metallica Announce 5-In-A Row for Denmark

Metallica today announced their 5th Danish show in Europe for July 2009. All shows will take place from July 20th in Copenhagen, Denmark , and you wonder if this means something more for Metallica then just a few shows in Lars hometown.

I don't think the band are hanging up their boots but it could mean something important, perhaps the recording of an anniversary concert DVD or live DVD:eek:, or the last few shows for a year or two. Although the band will only have been on the road less than a year after the release of the album at that point they have been touring on this albums pre-production since Summer this year.

Also, can you imagine Metallica 5 nights in one week, Jesus Christ!:D:eek:

Jeez I'd go mad if I had to watch them five nights in a row. I couldn't even be bothered to go when they play in Ireland every year now, even thats a bit much...it'd be different if they were a new band releasing new stuff all the time. Will check them out next though cos of the new album

This picture was taken at the setup for a recent Kylie Minogue concert. Its pretty small, when all seated (prob removed for Metallica to allow a lot more space), although it does like the old Point Depo slightly...
