I think they were taken at Carton House, Maynooth??

Lens flare is a problem in the second one

I would have used a faster shutter speed personally.

Is that a finger in the top one?? Crop that out!!!

The sky is a bit too overexposed, the bright white is a bit distracting, and I think there might be a bit too much water... maybe crop some of it out. You should invest in a grad filter for shots like this where the bright sky contrasts with a dark environment. Also try and avoid massive lens flares like the one in #2. The area has the makins of a good photo though I like the reflection.

First off, theyre HUGE!!! Only supposed to post pictures up to 800pix wide.

They are nice. Composition, colour of the foliage on the trees, and the reflection in the water all point to an overall good photo.

I did notice a few things though.
    - the sky is blown out, which is the very first thing u see in the picture.
    - theres something in the top right corner, probably your finger
    - a bit of lens flare in the 1st shot, and a lot of lens flare in the 2nd

I think that theres a bit too much at the bottom of the picture, which isnt the main focal point of the picture. Id try cropping out some more of the water.

Its a nice shot though. Maybe some PP will solve these problems. Dont mean to be harsh, only trying to offer some constructive criticism
