I had a quick look on the net and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know or know where I can find out school holidays. I've been told there are different dates for different areas in France unlike Ireland where there is common dates. Thanks in advance for any info

I thought it was just kind of random as to which schools might be shut at particular times in France, looks like it is actually a government defined system to try and prevent overcrowding in resorts.

I'd expect that the actual area that you heading to won't make a whole lot of difference though, just try and avoid all of the dates listed for all zones if possible.
