My G&L L2000 Tribute weighs in at a hefty 11 lbs (approx). I have a good wide strap so this is not a real problem. My Trib G&L JB2 weighs a few lbs less.

I voted for almost everything, as I have instruments rangeing from a weightless Uke, almost weightless Mandolin, light Lap Steel, guitars, light basses right up to a 15+ pound Traben, and a fairly close 6 string.

I can't get any exact weights, I broke the kitchen scale weighing the Traben, thing didn't go heavy enough, clocked, and now dosn't work.:(

I always though it didn't matter, but the one I play the most tend to be the heavier ones, I dunno, just like 'em better, it seems....

I've never weighed them but they go from fairly light for my strat and Ran to damn heavy for my Les Paul.

No idea and it doesn't really bother me too much, though I always feel better playing something with a bit of heftiness to it. Heaviest... my old 77 POS Jazz was rather weighty but the mac daddy of leaden instruments would have to be my Tony Iommi sig Eggle, the old one based on the Vienna model which is just a huge slab of Brazilian Mahogany whose heavy weight matches the heavy tone. That's a proper heavy bastard of a guitar.

My ibanez S 670 is very light with a thin body when compared to my J custom which is made from mahogany with a with a wide body, i've no idea of the exact scale really !

Weighed myself without the guitar, 10 stone 10 3/4, then wearing same clothes and shoes and all, with the guitar. 11 stone 7. I think there's 14 pounds in a stone, so that would put my Epi Les Paul Custom at 10 1/4 lbs. Open to correction on the number of lbs in a stone

No ideas about weight but I prefer playing light guitars. I find I can play them for longer with as much strain and for some reason I find them easier to play.

I haven't a clue.. my 6120 is very light as it's full of air, my Corvette is a little heavier and my Sheraton is much heavier.

Not sure what it weight but my old 78 Tokai LP Reborn was a heavy bastard. It was the reason I sold it. Gave me bad back pains. Playing sitting down just doesn't look right :P

Not all of 'em dude, just my fretted one, my fretless is actually really light.
I blame it on the large mahogany body, and huge chunk of brass on the front.

The thing is, you don't notice the weight at all really, the balance is perfect.

My MM's goes from 8lb to 9lb. My Double Bass weights alot, not sure exactly but I've no scales so I'd say over 18lb!!

Mine go from extremely light Ibanez RG Prestige, all the way to extremely heavy Dean ML USA!

And i do definitely prefer heavy guitars to light ones, dont really know why...
