COUNTY Louth, home of the East of Ireland Championship, and past venue for the Irish Open, the Vagliano Trophy, the British Open pre-qualifying, and the Home Internationals, has joined forces with Headfort and Knightsbrook to offer value to golfers.

A 'North East Golf Pass', available from any of the clubs, will cost €190 and entitle the bearer to a round at each of the participating courses.

That's a respectable 25pc reduction on the normal green fee.

For further information, contact any of the clubs.

Is that a just a winter offer or all year round?

Doesn't seem great for a winter offer cause you will get headford and knightsbrook for around €30 - €40 each so thats a €100 + for baltry
