Lost Microsoft Office by hitting F10

My PC crashes occasionally and yesterday I made the mistake of hitting F10, which seems to have wiped my entire MS Office applications.

System restore is only allowing me to restore to yesterday which is not much use. Is there any way I can restore these applications? I have no idea where the disk is so unless I can restore it I will have no option other than to buy a new one!

    Any help greatly appreciated. Daisy.

hmmm it sounds like you need to buy it "again" eventhough if you already had a copy and your pc crashed wouldnt you just re-install again? its ok if the hardware has not changed .. What probably happened is you reimaged your PC from a recovery partion and MS office was not on the original image

Is there a way of accessing the previous image? Not sure what your implying with "again". I hardly "imagined" I had been using it for the past two years.

If you are insinuating that it was an illegal copy then "unfortunately" it was not! I simply cant find it!

Hi Teckieeddy, No CD's with the PC either. Bought it about 3 years ago in Dixons in Blanchardstown. Bought the MS Office CD seperately a few months later in Currys I think. Soes that help?

Just looking for a way to find it on my PC if possible, otherwise will have to buy it again. thanks, Daisy.

I have managed to recover all my photos. Are applications different?

Ok this means that Office was not on the original build. Which means you have to either find the cd or buy it again.

Thanks Eddy, might as well do that then. Funny though it didnot wipe other software related to my camera or limewire etc. Cheers, Daisy.

It is allright. Are you sure your not just missing the shortcuts?
Open My Computer, Double click the C: drive. Double click Program Files. Do you have a folder in there called Microsoft Office?

Yea Eddy, its there alright. It just tells me to go back to where I installed it. Haven't a clue I'm afraid.

Aye. I've found having to write some of the functions slightly differently.
