CNNs is very high tech. They have a hologram of a woman in the studio!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,198 ✭✭✭✭Crash

Say what you want about fox, but their ticker is extremely good IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,015 ✭✭✭Ludo

Flicked on RTE a while ago there. Their map looked like something knocked together on a Commodore64...BRUTAL!

CNN coverage is very good for that kind of thing.

I think the BBC coverage is pretty good,

The guy on there that has the touch screen tv has done his research, fair play to him. Thought the pictures of the crowd running across the field was cack, wtf?

    Any links to FOX?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,080 ✭✭✭✭Tusky

The giant touch screen thing they have on CNN is nifty...very minority report.

    no?

    RTE's coverage is brutal.
That Mark Little guy is clueless.Absolute buffoon.
The way they are praising Obama you'd think he was after serving 2 terms as the greatest president ever, after healing the sick, walking on water, turning dirt into gold.Ridiculous.
Its a case of the Emperors new clothes.

you see the hollogram earlier? seriously well done

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,414 ✭✭✭✭Trojan

These guys playing with their touchscreens (on all the channels) are really p!ssing me off. They're not showing any more information - they're just showing off "and if I tap here it zooms in and we can see some useless information that I could have just told you instead".

    Just show the damn info.

The cnn coverage on the tv is different from the stream on the net, where can i view the tv coverage online or is that possible..almost had a meltdown overloading of sites!

Only caught the very end of it.

    RTE's coverage is ****e.
They have all these muppets on blabbing on about drivel.
Its supposed to be a results show, not a discussion program.

    Switch to tv3 then

I'm flicking between about 5 channels.
Why did RTE even bother to show something ,waste of money.Leave it to the pros.

The map on RTEs website seems to be updated allot quicker than CNNs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,956 ✭✭✭✭MisterAnarchy

Who is that weirdo on RTE now ?

Tg4 wins worst coverage with France 24. I don't think they've a clue whats going on.

    CNN is deffo the best.

    Slick as hell.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi

I'm loving Fox News tbh. Numbers flying across the screen, some fancy gizmos but nothing on the scale of CNN, which to me is good thing. :)

RTÉ's coverage, as usual, is dreadful. Really is.

Personally, I am watching Al Jazeera English. Absolutely superb.
Honest, factual, comprehensive. No bias, with lots of discussion, debate and accurate, up to date results.

Mary Robinson was on the programme earlier giving her piece!

I was to watch BBC and Sky, but AJE is far better.
    Truly excellent.

Watch it via online TV @ www.livestation.com.

Strange, because normally I like their work.

Me too, their UK General Election coverage is usually top notch. Dimbleby looks like he doesn't want to be there and the whole thing is just chaotic.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 70 ✭✭DavidLive

And its not as if they were up for McCain; saw he was losing, and then just haven't bothered putting anymore input in!
