Follow up to the worst car you've driven thread. Must be something you've actually driven.

Mine is the Nissan Silvia S15, what an absolute ball of fun that was to drive.

    Alfa Romeo Brera

I've never driven a car [on ProvLice] but my favourite car that I've been driven in is undoubtedly the Mazda RX-7 FD3S. Actually, it's just my favourite car of all time.

It's my boyfriends first love!! ;) He put me on the insurance as it brings the premiums down to have a female driver on the insurance. Benefit is that I get to take it out to play! :D And I love posing in it! He has a Veilside kit on it, looking beautiful!!

Nicest car ive driven is either a Ferrari 360 modena, Bentley Continental or an S500 AMG. Ive also driven a 06 645 bmw. Wasnt the most fun though cos had to take it fairly handy in all 3, even the ferrari.

"Favourite" car ive driven as in the most fun was a toss up between a MKII Escort or a 86 TwinCam.

Most Fun: 1997 Carina-e Lean Burn (Silage field drifting:p)

    Most Destructive: 2008 Volvo A40d

Most Sideways Action: Yamaha Raptor 660cc

Worst Drive: Convertible Renault Megáne, belongs in the water.

My favorite cars i've driven are my own. I don't really like to drive cars i don't own. However i did make an exception for this exact car in the pictures. The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera press car which was pretty amazing i must admit

Alfa Romeo 156 1.8, everything was quite right in that car.

Peugeot 205, loads of fun to drive.

Pajero V6 was quite interesting as well, also VW Transporter 2.4d was nice to drive in the work.

Audi 100 from 1990 was nice as well.

Group A Sierra Cosworth for just pure power, Mk II Escort RS2000 would be my all time favourite though.

E90 330i...gotta love the sound of that one. Also Leon Cupra...to most people it didnt look a lot different from my own 1.6...fun to be had at traffic lights:D

Have driven SL55 AMG, Jag XKR and a Boxster S but the best car, by a country mile, was a Pug 106GTI.

Most fun was a 998cc Mini however.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,158 ✭✭✭✭Berty

Most expensives cars ever driven so likely the best ever driven and most favourite are:

I drove one of these recently - stayed well below the speed limit and drove very gingerly (customer's car). I wish I could have opened the taps on her though, that's a really impressive car!

My favourite car to drive was the Mazda MX-5 Anniversary - custom blue colour w/blue hood, chromed wheels, first Irish MX-5s to get a 1.8 engine...
It just felt like something that, if I owned it, I'd have kept it forever, that it would have only gotten more special with the years.
Oh yeah, it also drove brilliantly too - deadly handling!

Around 15 years ago ( oh crap, that old already? :( ), I drove this Opel Group N touring car(same series as the British Touring Series, but in SA).

Amazing vehicle. Not been matched since, and I've driven my share of "super" cars.

Has to be the NSX. I've driven quicker cars, but none with the kind of handling finesse, sense of occasion, and general competence coupled with the most amazing sound ever.

Would have to be a toss up between my own Alpina B10 Bi-Turbo, a 420bhp MTM RS4 or an E39 M5. All three have enormous acceleration and great Soundtracks.

My old 1991 Toyota Corolla. Banger but was great fun to drive.
    Much more fun than my current Volvo S40 ;-;

Drove a BMW Mini once, thought it was a riot. For me the speed is not the fun part, it is how much fun you can have at all speeds, fast or slow.

    LOL,

Was passenger in a mk3 Escort VAN, but fitted with a Kent engine, and 2 x blowers

    serioulsy fast

I was scared, but mainly cause the driver was sat on a crate - stearing with gclamps - as was only partially fitted out.

    Cars ive driven:

    E36 323i
    E30 318is
    Opel Omega
    1999 Fod Fiesta
    Jaguar XJ type 4l supercharged.
    Seat Alhambra
    Vauxhall OPC
    E36 328i for about 5 mins!
    Mark 5 Golf 1.9TDi
Ford Mustang 3.0l. Slow. Totally unsporty to drive. Dire.

Most are a bit of a yawnfest, but my favourite is the 323i as its simply brill for throwing into corners. I love the sound of it and the 2nd and 3rd gear pull from 3000rpm onwards. I also love the sense of occasion in the E30, although its scary in the wet (having said that, the LSD is nice when I feel brave! :)). My old Fiesta was a hoot as well. Was great fun up in the wicklow mountains.

    A Baja 500 race prepared Jeep cj6.

    It was simply incredible.

The noise alone on the Freeway used to clear traffic in front of me. (Raod legal too).

Most fun I have ever had in a road going vehicle!!
