Both Flecktarn and ASMC are top notch, but neither of them stock much (any?) sofacam. You might have better luck with a US site.

Try http://www.patriotsurplus.com, I've bought from them and they stock genuine American Camo, Useless. The only person who can make that stuff look good is Gizmo. And it still doesn't work.

Camo is not about fashion, it's about blending in. Buy a camo that suits the areas you'll most likely be playing. Dat'd be my advice anyway.

ACU is best for rocky, grey, mountainous terrain which HRTA isn't.

But with any camo you will have to be making an effort to blend in..ie hiding

in bushes, ditches. No camo will hide you if your standing exposed in a

field..go for something like woodland or even multicam which seems to be effective.

Multicam (as mentioned), flecktarn, cadpat, British DPM would all be better than ACU, IMO.

If your playing in a woodland site, get woodland camo. ACU is pretty much retarded in Ireland, people with may as well be dressed in illuminous colours with flashing lights.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,159 ✭✭✭daz801

marpat is class but alot of teams use it.
another thing dont spend to much money on camo if you want to join a team as the team mite have camo restrictions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,561 ✭✭✭andy_g

Which is actually very appropriate for 'disco' and 'christmas' scenarios

Is there any places in Ireland or town were you can walk in and just pick up some cammo because i am kinda limited to buying it oonline, When i say that I mean i cant. No credit card or any of that jazz =[

Would be 1000 times easier if I could just walk into town, Pick up a set of trousers and shirt then im sorted,

    Anybody know of any ??

If you're seriously stuck try Dunnes or Pennies who often have camo trousers. Add a dark jacket and you're set.
At least then you get to skirmish a few times and can see what other people are wearing.
