Hi, I'm new to the boards.

Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone who delivers ikea stuff to Ireland?

Unfortunately I don't have a car (or the time!) to go to Belfast.

is it ever opening down here???

    Ta!

I am only looking for a few small bits and pieces for the kitchen. Someone told me they had really good spice jars and things.

There's magnetic ones that go in Avoca down here for 50 euros a set and they're only a few euros in ikea i'm told. is it really that cheap?

why not try the guy here on boards that does deliveries. Think his website is vantasks.ie and his names cormie or cormac

Actually, after a bit of looking around I found some of the bits and pieces I was looking for on ebay.

Also, I got in touch with the person that had them listed and he said that if I saw anything in the ikea catalogue to send him an email and he would sort it out (and put a listing on ebay for it)

If anyone's interested, this is the guy:

    Thanks for your help!

Such a good idea - and something I was thinking of as I walked around ikea - you only really need to go for one visit to look around and then it would be so handy to get someone to do the actual shopping for you!

Here is the main thread for IKEA
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055231242

By the way IKEA do deliver to Ireland for £100 per 2 trolley and £50/trolley for any additional trolley
    here is the trolley pics
    66519.gif
Basically the start of the handle is 1 trolley

Enterprise rent a car is also available there to carry your stuff
they charge £10/hour for first 4 hour within northern ireland and £40/day for the northern ireland, did not ask about South Ireland rate
On the thread above, there are few fella who deliver to IRELAND.
IKEA is not very much costly (£100 for 2 trolley) not bad...

Moderator....are we goign to see "IKEA" section seperately please?
