    Hi all i was just wondering where the best place to get a PS3 would be?I was hoping to get it this weekend.I checked HMV but have not seen anything of interest . A FIFA09 bundle is what i was hoping for :D

    in GAME you can get the 80GB PS£ with Fifa 09 for €399

    :)thanks i will check in game tomorrow i also heard of the new 160gb PS3 is it worth getting?or is it the same but with more hard drive space? i was looking for fifa 09 bundles if anyone else has seen a good deal please let me know thanks .

    Im sure im going to be corrected, but If i knew now what i new then i wouldnt have got the 80gb PS3 at the time and would have gone for the 40 or ev en the 20 ,I NEVER use the hard drive .....can people tell me what they use theres for ??? cos im lost ... Any way you can buy a SATA hard drive up to 500gb or 1TB and stick it in the PS3 which would save you a whole heap of money and yes i know it'll void the warnty if you open it ......

    The biggest you can get that will fit the ps3 is 500GB (at the moment). You need a standard 2.5" sata drive, ensure it's 9.5mm and NOT 12.5mm in height as the 12.5mm drives won't fit. Changing out the hard drive doesn't void the warranty.

    do you not download games or demos or install games?

    4 games requiring installations and a 20g drive is gone

    ive a 350gb drive in mine and ive only about 200gb left

    It DOESNT void the feckin' warranty. If you look in the manual it give you instructions, in plain english, how to change the hard drive.

    Yea the only difference is the bigger harddrive. I think you get 3 or 4 free download games with the 160gb tho.
