6 Months in. (C&C appreciated)

So I've had my first DSLR for the bones of 6 months or so now and I just thought I'd throw some pictures up here with the intention of getting some C&C on some of the stuff I've shot. Some stuff is wildlife, some indoors, some street., bit of everything.

They look really good, I like the first one lt's different to anything l'v seen here before.
Looks like someone left in a hurry & forgot the toys left behind!!!

I have to say I wouldn't be to excited about the wildlife ones, but the first one more than makes up for them in my view.

the tones in no.1 are excellent,perfect,and unusual.
i think your composition is excellent and i quote "six months in",you have a great eye and weather or not the image is perfect... i do believe for someone with there first dslr you are showing a great deal of potential,i have been doing photography for quite a while now and take this compliment from me..... i think your first image is exceptional and well done, im quite jelous to be honest.


please keep this up as i look forward to more posts:):):)

Thanks for the feedback, thats fair enough Dades, I'm a huge fan of wildlife photography myself so I'd like to try and get better at some of the basics of that.

Most the pics were taken in Africa, I had some more of around Dublin and the Marathon but I didn't want to post too much up here.

The first picture was taken in a house in Zululand in South Africa where we got invited, there was loads of kids around and some were sweeping up the house, others were playing. Shows the fine line in poorer societies I thought. The house was gloomy aswell, but luckily the subject was right by the doorway, so it lit quite well.

Did you check out the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award winners?
They are just awesome!

And to be fair to yours - I took a bunch of pics in South Africa in 2006 and none were worth posting.
