I download movies in Quicktime .avi format and basically what I need to know is, which is the best product to use to connect my computer to the TV so I can display the movies on the TV screen. I have a 17" Intel Mac OS 10.4, I have researched which is the best product on the internet and read a lot of bad reviews.

    If you've got a HDTV:

Get the appropriate mini-DVI to VGA, DVI or HDMI adapter from Monoprice, along with an appropriate video cable.
And an audio cable from the same site.
    Sorted.

@akadesign: seriously, why would you want that thing from iBood? It can't even handle .MKV :)
