Carburettor Overhauled or new one

I need to get the Carburettor Overhauled on my 1978 Corvette and was told that Mac Namara's was the place to get it done. I called them and the said it would cost 150 - 250 but I had to get the kit first. Does anyone know where I could buy that or should I just replace the Carburettor. I think there is a place in the UK…
