Can anybody recommend a sports outlet or outdoor shop that sells puffy coats. These are down filled jackets. Need one for the cold, frosty mornings. Not seeking full length just past the hip.
    Thanks.

The new 'snow and rock' in Dundrum had a few ... you could also try 52deg north in Carrickmines!

    They're toasty warm eh? :)

Great Outdoors, The North Face store and Outdoor Adventure stores, all do them.

Toasty!! have one now for about twelve years and love it, wouldn't swap it for my right arm, (not nearly as warm).

Only problem with them is they usually are not water proof. I have the North Face Nuptse Jacket and vest but can't wear them much in teh rain. I'm off to New York this weekend so picking up the North Face Ice Jacket. Down filled and waterproof. Colour in the logo and I'm sorted. I know people who had the spray way ones but they lose feathers like crazy after a while. Rab also make really good ones.
