Buyer has different email to shipping and billing name.

    I have a buyer for an item of just under a hundred euros whose billing, email and shipping names don't match at all, they're completely different. Is this unusual?

    Sometimes people might use a partners Paypal/eBay account to buy something, so the names might not always match, but for billing, email and shipping names to all be different is a bit strange. Is the billing and shipping address the same, and are these Paypal verified?

    I wouldn't ship to anyone but the verified Paypal name and address. If the recipient is in Ireland, then they won't be Paypal confirmed, but the account should be verified (as you can do this with just the credit card). If this is not the case, then refund the payment and contact the buyer telling them that there's something seriously fishy about their buying practice.

    The person is in Italy. The name on the billing info is completely different to the email name and different again to the shipping name. None of them match at all. I emailed paypal but i won't get a reply for days from them which will slow shipping if its legit and i don't want to upset a seller by saying i think you're a scammer etc. It says sender of payment is non US verified.

    I've no idea, its the paypal address list that can up when their payment went through. As i said the email addres the paypal acc is reg to is different from the billing name, and the shipping name is different to both again:confused:
