Hi, I have my graduation in two weeks time and have nothing (that I like) to wear. Its a post grad course that I'm graduating from, will be on during the day (well morning really as starts at 11am) and as is November will be cold so slinky night time dresses won't do.
I'm looking for something amazing but not a suit. I have a budge of €400.00 or so for this outfit and would like something in a colour other than black. So if any of you fashionistas out there have seen anything great please let me know where. I'm Dublin based but willing to travel (within reason).

I can think of a million places to spend 400€ :D
I'll tell you what I'm wearing to mine - a cream pussybow blouse with long sleeves and a high waisted black pencil skirt which i got in warehouse (while student discount still good) and i'll just wear tights (possibly with a seam up the back) and a pair of heels. Classy and dressy :D

Then we have the ball to which I'll be wearin a gown.

idunnos outfit sound perfect. To be honest, imo you don't need to spend 400 on a grad outfit. You will have for gown over it, so no1 is gona see your outfit, but if they do, you just want something understated and not ott.

My graduation was in a September. All the girls worse dresses. Obviously the weather was a lot warmer though, but a dress, cardigan and tights wouldn't be out of place in my opinion.

I know I don't have to and maybe I won't but that is my budget. I will also use whatever I wear for other occasions in the future.
idunnoutellme, your outfit sounds really great, elegant and classy. Enjoy your day. :)

ah thanks kizzyr you too :)
well if my grad ball was the same day or if we were all goin out after graduation ceremony i'd probably wear a dress, but my ball is the next day so i'm not gettin dressed as I would for going out.
Last year I was handing out the graduation gowns in one college and all the girls were dolled up to the 9s but thats because they were going to their ball straight after...so really depends on the situation

My graduation is in three weeks and I'm wearing this dress: http://www.tedbaker.com/shop.do?cID=673&pID=5100. I was going to wear tights for the day since it'll be so cold! Ted Baker has some really nice things.
