Black Dress help.

Hi there. Wonder could anyone tell me where online i could find just a "plain" black dress. I mean a kind of fitted one that doesn't frill out and is straight to above the knee. I cant find one in any of the shops and i have a dance thing to go to in 2 weeks. Tried littlewoods and asos but still see nothing. Anyone any help. I'm useless at shopping as went from a size 26 to a 10 and now i'm just stumped. Don't want anything that frills out the way if you know what i mean.

I was in Karen Millen over the weekend and they had some really nice simple black dresses. French Connection also had some that are worth taking a look at.

Thanks girl. I'm down in Waterford county so don't have those shops around here. Will have a look and see if they have a website. Will go to cork in the next week if find nothing but can never seem to just find anything that looks not frilly lol.

I seen a plain black dress like you described, straight and kind of fitted to the knee, in H&M at the weekend for around €30. It had a belt vthough so I don't know if it's what you're looking for. Zara would probably be worth a try too.

I've ordered clothes directly from the French Connection website before with no hassle at all so you could look into that.

check out oasis as i got a dress like you describe there-its perfect as you can wear it during the day or dress it up at night.

Hi,

I bought a lovely dress in Dorothy Perkins for €40.00 - It is a jersey dress and I would be a 12 - 14 and it fits like a glove and VERY FLATTERING.

lipsy have an unreal black fitted dress at the monent....kind of pricey...round 90euro. my sister bought it and she got it in Brown Thomas but they have a web-site which my friend has ordered off.
