    Hi Guys,

    New PS3 owner here. Looking for some recommendations on what games are must haves on this system? As to be honest I have not kept up todate with next gen consoles.
    Also what kind of cool things can you do with the system itself?

    Well the coolest thing i find with it is streaming all my Movies and Tv Shows etc.. Straight from my laptop/pc to the ps3. So frikkin handy!!

    As for games, i guess it depends what your into.
    At the min my personal Favourite is Mercenaries 2.

    Ya I picked up Uncharted, quality game.
    Was considering MGS 4 alright, think ill pick it up
    And Pro evo for good measure.
    Burnout Paradise does look cool.

    LittleBigPlanet would be a must, the most charming game I've ever played. Recently I've really enjoyed Bioshock and Dead Space.

    Rock Band is a must-have for me too, but yer probably better off waiting for Rock Band 2 to come out here in December.

    My picks:

    Metal Gear Solid 4
    Call of Duty 4
    Uncharted
    Dead Space
    Wipeout HD (from the PSN store)
    Burnout Paradise (also on PSN store)

    There are tonnes of demos on the store too to give you an idea of what the various games are like. Try before you buy!

    I would add onto that list resistance 2. It can be ordered from videogameplus today for 42 with delivery. Also the first one can be picked up for a 10er second hand.

    I'm a massive Metal Gear fan and so far MGS 4 has been a major letdown. I couldn't recommend it.

    What act are you on after act 2 it gets better and better and includes pieces from all the other 3 games.

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:are you on crack by any chance? MGS 4 was one of the best games that I have ever played. Graphics, gameplay, story. Sure the cut-scenes dragged on a bit longer than they should have but since they were produced so good you'd forgive the length of them
