    Hey guys,

Im heading down to Dublin for a concert tomorrow, getting a return ticket. I travel up an down the whole time. Usually I would stay in Dublin and get a bus back the next morning, but I have to be back that night.

I know that there is a 24hr service with Bus Eireann/Ulsterbus, but where do the buses leave from after Busaras closes at 11pm?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Arc.

It leaves from just outside the main doors of Busaras. It'll be the only bus around so it should be easy enough to find.

I could be wrong, but I think that service operates as a different service from the usual Dublin-Belfast service, so if you're gettin a return ticket make sure it's valid for the trip home :)

    Cheers mate.

What do you mean about a different service though? I had assumed that a normal return ticket would suffice as its off the same timetable?

Ah right, it's irrelevant now. I've gotten that bus from Dublin to Dundalk (which they aren't allowed to do, for some retarded reason, but luckily the drivers let me). For a while the 24hr service was running at the same time as the original Dublin-Belfast and Belfast Dublin route, they've sorted it out now though.

So yeah, all ya need to know from all that is that the bus leaves from right outside the doors of Busaras. :)
