    thats a great animation:D
looked a bit suspicious alright... but
with kimi ILLEGALLY gifting a place to massa 2 weeks ago i think its
fair even if glock did let lewis past.
just felt soooo sorry for massa, his crew had obviously told him that
he'd got the title... and i think he and kubica are the probably the most
    friendly guys in the feild.
now that lewis has his championship, i'd like to see massa win the next and kubica for 2010!!

As much as I would like it to be true I very much doubt that there was a conspiracy.
    but

Totally different circumstances, kimi is a ferrari driver, Timo is not a Mclaren. There is no way to stop team orders, and imho there should be no issue with them. But if other teams are colluding that's completely different.

Its one thing allowing you own teammate past.. But to leave another team past that has been beaten fair and square to the titles makes me puke

    ...

The same thing as Heikki letting Hamilton past in Hockenheim.

just look at the lap times for the guys on slicks the rain was pouring at the finish (last few corners) glock took a gamble didnt pay off lewis didnt and it did. thats racing i'm really sick of so and so dindt deserve this or this i hated schumacher killed F1 for me was so glad when he retired but i had to admire is team building expertise and driving.

    so congrats to lewis.

(my first big memory of f1 is ronnie petersen's death thats how long i've been watching if you dont know who he was look him up)

stuff happens i dont like in every sport, i think overall its been a good season with some strange stewards decisions i think looking back its probably evened out.

just noticed 1000 and 1th post woo hoo

If you look at the final finishing times, Glock lost nearly 5 seconds between the overtaking manoeuvre that clinched it for Hamilton, and him crossing the finishing line. That alone suggests he was having one helluva problem keeping that Toyota on the track. But hey, never let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory, eh?

I'm taking the above clip as a joke. I'm a hardcore Ferrari fan and was dying for Massa to do it (heart dropped at second last corner) but I don't want to see the title overshadowed like that. As Massa said, he knows how to win and how to lose - a great attitude to have after what happened (also added that Hamilton deserved the title because he got more points overall - a fair point).

    🤪

As much of a Hamilton fan as I am I couldn't help feeling for Massa, he was almost crying on the podium.

What facts? Lap times? Yeah right, now that's got to be conclusive evidence! Some people wont see a conspiracy even if their lives depended on it...

Very easy to lose time and to "Appear" to be struggling with grip when you have NO Traction control and 700BHP at the back wheels

OK consider the pal times of BOTH Toyotas, ..hmm strange both on 1.14... check it out and an interview with Glock:

How did the rain at the end of the race affect your strategy?
In the final laps we saw that we had the opportunity to make up some places due to the rain. It started to rain lighty on parts of the circuit with around six laps to go and at that stage everyone was on dry tyres.

We took the decision to stay out on dry tyres even though the intensity of the rain was increasing we were sure we could make up positions when the other cars pitted for wet weather tyres and because it was only on the last couple of laps that the wet tyre was superior. We stayed out and I was up to fourth but it was not easy in those conditions in the last laps.

What was it like in wet conditions with dry tyres?

It was not so bad until the final lap when the rain really began to come down very heavily and it was just impossible. It was so difficult to just keep the car on the track because it was very wet and the car was basically undriveable in those conditions. I was sliding everywhere, with absolutely no grip at all.

Were you taking it easy on the final lap?

Absolutely not! It was completely the opposite; the final lap was one of the hardest laps I have done in Formula 1 because there was no grip at all and on dry tyres it was almost impossible to keep the car on track. I was pushing really hard to keep fourth place and if you look at the lap times I was actually faster than Jarno on the final lap and he was the only other car on dry tyres at that stage.

Was it the right decision to stay on dry tyres?

Absolutely no doubt about it. We were running seventh before the rain came and we would have probably finished there if it had been totally dry. Instead we finished sixth so that shows the strategy was the right one.

Did you realise the significance of Lewis Hamilton fighting with you on the final lap?

To be honest I was racing for Toyota and my place which is the correct thing to do. I didn’t even know that Lewis was directly behind me. The team told me that Sebastian Vettel was catching me and they kept me updated on his position but I was concentrating so hard on keeping the car on the track. I didn’t even know that Lewis had overtaken me until after the race. I was passed by three or four cars on the final lap and it was not easy to keep track of what was going on.

This is the end of your first season with Panasonic Toyota Racing, how do you assess the year?

It has been very positive for me. At the start of the season I set myself a target of scoring 20 points and in the end I have finished with 25 and a podium in Budapest, so I am very happy with that. The first few races were a bit difficult as I was adjusting to a new car and a new team but we all worked really hard to improve and we made good progress. Finishing fourth in Canada was a big boost for me and the team but the turning point was Hockenheim, where I was really competitive in the race until the mechanical problem. After that I was fighting high up the grid in pretty much every race and we scored a lot of points. But this is only the first step and next year I want to achieve a lot more, so we are already working hard to make another step

So, then consider who was riding shotgun for Massa... First in line and openly vowed to help Massa win the championship, Fernando Alonso...... who also stated he didn't mind Hamilton winning but not McLaren....

Second line of defense, team mate Kimi again, stated he would help his team mate...

Then coming up from the rear Ferrari engined and who are in negoiationn with Ferrari because of the presence of Mercedes, we have Vettell.....

So, when someone starts to talk about gifting position Hamilton was lucky to get to the last lap let alone achieve the position to win the championship.

Then the earlier comments by the Domicella character, time for extreme measures..

Half the Mafia, the Spanish inquistion and part of the red army faction and you wonder about the Japanese influence..

One brit trying to avoid all the acrimony and bile and you point to a gifted position.

Have a look at the lap charts on the FIA site, how easily Massa regained the leading postion after his pit stops... not orchestrated... you're having a laugh

Give it a rest would you, "Rosberg went on holiday in England and it rained so he wanted to stop Hamilton, Barrchello drove Ferrari so he tried to run Lewis off the road" . Incase you were someone else last year you'd know Alonso hates McLaren, their fault. Kimi is Massa's teammate, Vettel is a racer and has no favouritism with Hamilton so he raced him (sure if Massa had of won he'd of got a bottle of wine off Ferrari). None of the above is the same as Glock helping McLaren, which he didn't, so there is no point arguing it.

you forgot the NWO, did you not read the instructions on your tin foil hat?

Nobody seems to grasp the fact that Glock was on dry tyres on a wet track which was getter worse by the lap. Even if Lewis didnt get past him on the corner he would have got him on the straight due to the lack of drive Glock would have gotten out of the corner. The amount of people wearing tin foil hats is unbelievable its always some hidden agenda or conspiracy theory.

It's fairly unreal reading alright. Did Glock really walk on the moon or was it staged? Maybe a F1 car never actually did fly into the twin towers... It's all a farce I tells ya!! :D
And now there's word of Vettel doing Ferrari a favour by passing Hamilton? The solution to that one is simple - tell Hamilton not to let him past... Oh wait - he wasn't good enough! :p

This is for all you conspiracy theorists.
At 1:30 nicole is already being questioned as to how she knew that he had won the worldchampionship when she started celebrating just as he crossed the line. Hamilton himself did'nt even know. No one else from the team had come out as well when she was jumping up and down.

Maybe they're slow? Because I knew, my dad knew, any of the different commentators seem to have known (from their excitement when he overtook Glock), my sister who very rarely watches formula 1 knew.
