Ok, can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong here?

I try to pay eflow on my iPhone, since my broadband is down, I get a browser not supported error. Off to a bad start.

So, today, fire up the laptop and go to pay three tolls, no problem, laser card accepted, all good.

Go to set up a video registration account, after a few hassles, click submit only to be told my account already exists (I used my name as the account name). Tried again, with a different account name, told that account also exists. Try to ring them, and of course there is nobody around on a Sunday.

So what is the deal? Do they set up an account for you when you pay online automatically? I can't really imagine them being that forward thinking. Even if that is the case, surely there are data protection issues if they do?

Or am I missing something? How have I an account already setup? I certainly didn't set one up.

I got an e-mail from them yesterday answering a query from some guy in Sligo. It appears that we share the same name. Not the most efficient outfit it seems.

AFAIK the unique identifier is the registration - is there another user of that vehicle?

eFlow insist on doing the idiotic user-agent check on the browser. There's not a lot you can do on the iPhone Tom, but I know for a fact if you set Safari on the Mac to say it's IE7 the site works fine. The developers on that site obviously weren't worth their salt.... and the backend doesn't look much better either.

    Nope, only me.

Yeah, I couldn't find an option to make Safari appear like IE on the iPhone. Not to worry.
