Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Just wondering does anybody know the best site to trace my familys family??Im intersted in looking into this but not sure what site as i was on one but it didnt make sense.Also anyone any experience with using these sites??

    There's one on the Irish Times website; not sure how good they are, though.

    If they are Irish then go here. If there are any immigrations to the Uk go here.

    It can take some time. Not all Irish records are available online yet and many civil records were destroyed in the civil war when the Four Courts was shelled.

    If you need any pointers just drop me a PM and I will help where I can.
