    Kick Off 3pm

this match may see the return Of Drogba off the subs bench.
so hopefully chelsea can offer more attacking malice with Joe Cole back in the team as well.

    Chat away,.

I've a question for the Chelsea faithful, whats yer opinion on Wayne Bridge? I personally think he's a cracking full back sadly living in Coles shadow, always found him very good getting forward.

Hes a top class full back, gets injured too often though.

He always delivers when called upon. Pity he's not called upon more often. We're so lucky to have players like him and Carlo around. At least he'll probably get a game on tuesday.

must have been in the pub all day :p

great chelsea performance today, could easily have been a lot more than 5. thought sunderland were very poor , seemed to have come with only 1 plan , play for a scoreless draw and didn't know what to do after chelsea scored. Talking to a few sunderland fans before and after and though fairly confident going in were a bit baffled about what happened later.

Miniero ? must be the smallest footballer in the league.

Good to see Drogba back , and am now convinced that Anelka must be permanently stoned, that hat trick could have been scored by anyone/ he could have had 10, he's a lazy player imo.

Gotta love spurs doing us a favour :pac: lovely goal from carragher, legend, Levy must have sone serious video evidence on him, why else would he keep scoring for spurs? :P

I was at the game today and can't believe how poor Sunderland were once we went one up, as was said earlier in the thread they just had no plan B and seemed to have come looking for a 0-0 draw. As for the Wayne Bridge versus Ashley Cole question, yes we are lucky to have 2 of the best left backs in the game at Chelsea but for me Ash has to play when he is fit as he has now rediscovered his Arsenal form of about 3 years ago.

Please show me where I made a ridiculous claim like 'Abidal is the best in the game' and I will gladly apologise...

How's Deco doing? It's always good to have a bit of European class in your team you know, someone used to winning trophies on a continental level.

Theres winners in there and a squad who knows how to get there.

Ah I was only jesting, take no offence. On Deco, he's been quiet since his return from injury, he had a shot off the crossbar early in the sunderland game and thats about all I heard of him. Truth be told I'm more concerned with Drogba, I know he's working back to fitness and all but I cant shake the feeling he's gonna pull a Henry before he left Le Arse. I hope I'm wrong.
